Aquamarine Jewelery for Those Who Were Born in March

Aquamarine is the birthstone for March. Aquamarine means 'water of the sea' in Latin. People in the Middle Ages thought that aquamarine could magically overcome the effects of poison while the ancient sailors traveled with aquamarine crystals, believing that it would ensure a safe passage, and guarantee a safe return; they often slept with the stones under their pillow to ensure sound sleep. They believed the siren’s (mermaid) fish-like lower body was made of aquamarine.

Personally, I like seeing Aquamarine stones on a white-based jewelries, by all means, the white gold or platinum. So, for this month, I would like to share pictures of jewelries that caught my eyes with the Aquamarine stones on it.
The first one is actually an engagement ring. Who says you couldn't have any color on your engagement ring, right? So, if your love one was born in March, it would be such a romantic idea for you to acknowledge that by getting her an Aquamarine ring during your proposal.

Here's what I had in mind for the second and third picture. Imagine this, a strapless or single strap soft blue satin long dress, completed with a pair of aquamarine earrings and an aquamarine bracelet like the ones on those pictures. Gorgeous, isn't it?

Amethyst Earring

In the spirit of the month February, I would like to share with all my readers a pair of an Amethyst earrings that I just made for a friend of mine for her birthday. Why Amethyst? Well, because she was born in February and it's the birthstone for the month.

I used the baroque shaped pendant swarovski crystal and simply slapped a pendant clip on each crystal and hooked it on the sterling silver earring hook. Simple. The earrings are ready in 10 minutes!

Garnet Jewelries For Those Who Were Born in January

Since its January, I thought it would be fun to recommend jewelries with Garnet stone on it. Garnet, as I mentioned in my previous post is the birthstone that represents January. If you have a friend or a love one whom birthday is in this month, these pieces are excellent gifts to get for them.My first recommendation is a 10k gold pendant with an oval garnet stone on it. This lovely pendant is a simple yet elegant piece of jewelry.
My second recommendation would an oval garnet wave bracelet. This bracelet is a 10k gold and equipped with 7 garnet stones accented with 2 round diamonds on each stones’ side. Nice, isn’t it?
If you’re not into gold, here are sterling silver jewelry set, consist of a string of necklace with an oval garnet pendant and a pair of oval garnet clasp earrings.

Birthstones and the Month They Represent

You may have heard about birthstones before. They are gemstones that represent the month of one’s birthday. For example, if you were born in April your birthstone would be the diamond. And if you were born in August, that would be a peridot. It is believed that by wearing it could bring good luck and health.

It’s a nice tradition. Birthstone jewelry always made a beautiful gift. If your love one was born in June, you could get her a pearl necklace. Pearl represents June.

Here, let me list down all the month for your guidance.

January: Garnet
February: Amethyst
March: Aquamarine
April: Diamond
May: Emerald
June: Pearl or Elexandrite
July: Ruby
August: Peridot
September: Sapphire
October: Opal
November: Yellow Topaz
December: Turquoise or Blue Zircon

Finding a Birthstone Wholesale Supplier

Many of the jewelry wholesale pieces that you make will include birthstones, and purchasing birthstones is not always cheap. Therefore, you will need to find jewelry wholesale sources for birthstones that you can afford.

Everyone loves jewelry with their birthstones in it. This type of jewelry makes perfect birthday gifts, as well as Christmas gifts. Some birthstones, such as opals, are quite inexpensive, while others, such as emeralds, rubies, and diamonds are very expensive.

One option is to purchase simulated stones. These stones are not real, and it is important that your customer be made aware of this. However, some customers will want the real deal! Again, you need a source for real birthstones.

The Internet is the perfect place to find birthstones. There are numerous jewelry wholesale outlets that do business online. Because there are so many, prices are usually rock bottom. Make sure that you make sure any company that you do business with is legitimate, and that the gems you buy are quality birthstones!

Also make sure that you know exactly which stone is required in the piece that you are making. Each month actually has different gems that represent it, depending on which tradition you are following. Verify the exact stone that is wished for with the client before making a purchase!
